What is a National Sales Company (NSC)?

A National Sales Company (NSC) is the national subsidiary or importer through which an automotive manufacturer distributes vehicles in a market — sitting between the factory and the local dealer network, and typically responsible for supervising dealer marketing.

The NSC — or an independent importer, in markets where the manufacturer doesn't own distribution — translates factory brand standards and targets into national programs: pricing, launches, dealer standards, and marketing funds. Its marketing team approves dealer campaigns, supervises co-op and MDF budgets, and reports results back to the factory.

That position makes the NSC the natural operator of dealer marketing systems: it sets the rules dealers plan against and owns the consolidated report the factory reads.

In practice

Sizle is built around the NSC seat — approval queues with SLAs, budget supervision across markets and brands, evidence validation at scale, and factory-ready rollups.
