What is proof of performance?
Proof of performance is the evidence a dealer or channel partner submits to show a funded marketing activity actually ran — live post URLs, photos, creative files, media schedules, and invoices — required before co-op or MDF funds are reimbursed.
Programs define proof per campaign type: a social campaign might need post links and spend invoices; an event needs photos, attendance, and receipts. The proof protects the program — it's how a brand knows shared money bought real activity at brand standard.
It's also where programs bog down. Evidence arrives late, incomplete, or unlabeled, and manual cross-checking creates the ninety-day reimbursement cycles dealers resent.
In practice
Sizle puts a requirement matrix on every campaign type, collects evidence directly on the campaign record, validates invoices with OCR against eligible spend, and preserves the chain for audit.
